Once upon a tea ceremony
In June 2018 NORI was invited at an event organized by Art Collective CU²: Aan Tafel/ At the table. This experience combined exceptional ceramics and artistic works, created with love and passion. Amongst various other activities a tea ceremony was held by a tea sommelier.
At the beautiful Romanic church in Ettelgem (Belgium), a small group of people took part in a 3-hour long experience. The soft but firm meditation cushions of NORI were there to support them in a comfortable sitting posture.
The Way of Tea finds its origin in the eastern cultures and involves the ceremonial preparation and presentation of tea. The ceremony is a combination of rituals, gestures and use of specific tools. It invites you to find stillness, inner spiritual content, simplicity and harmony with nature.
